Tower Park-based Breeze Volkswagen has strengthened its offering by introducing a new aftersales call centre and service team to ensure customers receive high levels of technical expertise from the point of purchase.
Specialists will be on hand to book vehicles into the workshop, remind customers when their MOTs and services are due and advise on mechanical and technical issues.
John Corderoy, managing director at Breeze Volkswagen, says: “We are expanding our aftersales offering to ensure customers receive a friendly and efficient service. We have learnt that many people can be intimidated by the technical side of car ownership, so we wanted to make driving and maintaining a car a more transparent and pleasant experience.”
Amanda Taylor, former business manager at Breeze Volkswagen who has worked at the showroom for over a decade, has been promoted to service manager and will head the aftersales centre. Amanda will manage the new aftersales team which includes Agata Anthony, aftersales sales executive, and customer advisors Owen Quenault, Joanne Eacock and Matthew Wellings.
Amanda’s main responsibilities include managing the aftersales centre and being the first point of call between the workshop and customers. She said: “I am delighted to be promoted to this new and exciting role which will enhance the already high quality service our customers receive.
“I will be focusing on customer satisfaction and ensuring the journey from purchasing a vehicle to maintaining it is as smooth and stress free as they would hope. At Breeze, we always aim to exceed the expectations of our customers, working around their schedules, offering courtesy services and communicating technical expertise simply and without jargon.”
John added: “Amanda has always been a great asset to Breeze Volkswagen. We are sure that she will make a positive impact to our service offering in the future, in addition to nurturing the friendly and enthusiastic aftersales team.”

Following the comeback of the Volkswagen Scirocco in 2008, after its original launch 40 years ago, a powerful new updated model is now available to order at Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen.
The new version has been treated to a facelift and revisions under the bonnet, with more powerful and efficient engines now offered, and Breeze Volkswagen expect first deliveries of the car in October.
The Volkswagen Scirocco has new front and rear lights, with the inclusion of LED tail lights, and the rear bumper has been reshaped for a sportier appearance. The Volkswagen badge on the boot lid now acts as a release handle. Inside, the dashboard has been updated with new-look dials and all models, except the R, now feature BlueMotion technology modifications.
The introduction of six new, more efficient petrol and diesel engines will ensure the new Scirocco is a real hit. The engine range now consists of a 1.4-litre petrol with 125 horse-power, was 122, a new 2.0-litre with 180 horse-power, a 2.0-litre with 220 horse-power, was 210, and a 2.0-litre with 280 horse-power, was 265. Two diesel engines are both 2.0-litre with either 150 or 180 horse-power.
Customers have four trim levels to choose from: the Scirocco, GT, R-Line and R. The entry-level Scirocco is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, air conditioning, automatic headlights and wipers, 17-inch alloy wheels and sports seats. The GT version has 18-inch alloy wheels, climate control, parking sensors and upgraded upholstery, while the R-Line comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, sportier bodywork and leather sports seats.
The range-topping Scirocco R comes with a distinctive bodykit for a sportier look, lowered suspension, R-specific sports seats and dynamic chassis control which is a system that allows the driver to adjust the car’s setup for comfort or performance.
Prices for the reworked Volkswagen Scirocco start at £20,455 for the 1.4-litre 125 horse-powered manual and rise to £33,795 for the 2.0-litre 280 horsepower Scirocco R.
John Corderoy, managing director at Breeze Volkswagen, says: “We have already had customers visiting the showroom enquiring about the arrival of the latest Scirocco and the team at Breeze Volkswagen have been on-hand to provide specific details on the car and schedule test drives. At Breeze Volkswagen we deliver a highly personal approach to business which ultimately results in the provision of outstanding levels of customer care, and as a result we look forward to welcoming past Scirocco owners, as well as new ones, to the showroom to find out more about the new and more powerful Scirocco.”
