Just a few reasons why Team LLPR is a great place to belong

It goes without saying that equal and fair opportunity for all comes naturally to us. That isn’t something that should be sold as a perk and looking after our people is a non-negotiable at LLPR.

In line with our family values, we take a human and collaborative approach to being an agency that our team genuinely enjoy being a part of. The best feedback we can get from our team (past and present) is that LLPR is the best place they’ve worked – and we strive to give everyone that experience.

That’s why our employee benefit packages have been developed in collaboration with team members at all stages of their career journey, supporting and promoting their professional and personal happiness. Being a small, connected team means that we truly see each everyone as individuals, and while our perks package is designed to be attractive, the benefits don’t stop there. We work with each team member to be the place of work they need and desire – if that means taking some extra annual leave to conquer a huge mountain climb or swapping around some hours so they can volunteer for a cause that’s important to them, we’ll listen and accommodate where we can.

A job in PR isn’t always 9-5:30pm and so our commitment to you doesn’t stop when you clock off.

We know that for many, a career in a workplace that you love is critical to a happy, successful and well-rounded life, so here’s a sample of the offerings which our employees enjoy, to assist in fulfilling all LLPR team members at work, and at play.

‘Workplace culture is one of the most important things for me – emotional intelligence is such a key factor in what we do professionally, and this has translated so well into how we work together as a team. It’s easy to get into a mindset where you feel like you can’t ask for help when things get a little much, but at LLPR this is never the case. I feel proud to work for a team that is so supportive every step of the way.’

Venita Cutler, Senior Account Executive

feel the love

‘For me, it’s the team culture, I love that we can all have a laugh and a bit of workplace banter and not take ourselves too seriously. Yet, when you’re maybe not having the best day and could do with a random act of kindness, the team is on hand to offer to make you a cup of tea or suggest going for a walk at lunch.

Of course, our amazing clients and Sandbanks location doesn’t hurt either. I used to take our office for granted, but the pandemic has made me realise how lucky we are to have access to the beach right on our doorstep. I make a special effort to get out and walk on my lunch when I’m in the office. I particularly enjoy a quiet moment overlooking the harbour before cracking on with the day. I even took up sea swimming as a Friday treat before work back when it was still warm.’

Shona Byrne, Account Manager

‘After years of feeling undervalued in my previous roles, I am proud to say that LLPR is the most refreshing company I have ever had the joy of working for! The workplace culture is centred around employee wellbeing which naturally improves my productivity. I love how the continuous hard work of the team never goes unnoticed, whether that’s by awarding Employee of the Month, arranging fun activities for Team Week or simply a coffee run!’

Sam Pape, Senior Account Executive

‘One of the benefits of being in a smaller agency is that we all have a voice, meaning we can all make a recognised contribution to the company’s success. You can tell that everyone at LLPR truly cares about the work they do, and that’s because we know we’re all truly valued both by our colleagues and clients. Our genuine, personal approach and determination to deliver amazing work is what makes us stand out as an agency.’

‘What did I love about working at LLPR? Goodness, where to begin? The team was just amazing. Everybody was so supportive. The clients were constantly challenging and rewarding; working for such an amazing array of clients across the board, no two days were ever the same. I mean, what could be better than working on the beach? I found it so inspiring to be able to go for a walk along the beach in my lunch break and sometimes, if I was organised enough, to get down there before work.

I had the best six years working at LLPR and fantastic memories. So if you’re thinking of applying, definitely do it!’

Alice Rook, Account Manager

feel the love

‘Since I have started working at LLPR, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting started thanks to the welcoming and supportive team. I particularly love being able to enjoy the wonderful office view and setting whilst working with an upbeat and encouraging team culture, which makes work at LLPR diverse, professional and enjoyable.’

Sam Bird, PR Apprentice

feel the love

‘Having worked in a number of different PR agencies prior to joining LLPR, I can honestly say that the team culture is absolutely second to none.  Everyone’s voice and opinion is equally valued, regardless of seniority or length of service. As a values-led organisation, it cares for its employees like family, nurtures talent, encourages innovation, and frankly, treats everyone like the superstars they are.

It’s simply a better, healthier, and more successful way to build a career, in a business where work-life balance and wellbeing are celebrated, and looking out for each other comes naturally. Oh, did I mention the coffee and snacks?’

Belinda Rastall, Senior Business & Account Director

feel the love

‘I love my work as no day is ever the same! Each day, there are new challenges and situations which keep the work interesting and fun. A massive plus to working at LLPR is the supportive, friendly and approachable team. We all truly get along and genuinely care about each other personally, and together we are a great team.’
