Innovative step forward for Pukka Pads

Stationery brand, Pukka Pads, has marked another progressive step forward by producing a new range of notepads designed for both personal and professional use.

Following a busy year for Pukka Pads, after it confirmed the takeover of production firm Cardinal Brands and achieved full FSC certification at the Grimsby-based company, Pukka Pads has continued to strive in providing its loyal customers with the highest quality of stationery.

The world-renowned stationery company, that is known for its bold, bright-coloured designs, has expanded its best-selling range, ‘Metallic’, with the introduction of its new Executive Project Books aimed to cater for the young professional seeking style and sophistication in a notepad.

The Executive Project Books feature 200 pages of 80gsm perforated paper, metallic printed hardback covers, elasticated closure, a world map, a personal details page and five colour coded movable subject dividers with storage pockets.

In addition to the Executive Project Books, next month will see the launch of Pukka Pads Soft Cover notebook, the first of its kind for the stationery company. The exciting new range will feature a smooth casebound cover designed for both personal and professional use.

The Soft Cover notebook will contain 192 cream coloured, lined pages of 80gsm, acid-free paper and will feature Pukka Pads’ resistant but flexible smooth finished durable casebound cover. The notebooks will also feature a ribbon marker and an elasticated closure which can also be used as a bookmark.

Pukka Pads’ managing director, Chris Stott, said: “The importance of innovation from a customer perspective is also shared by the professionals. We have the challenge to make sure that we are meeting the requests of our customers; who expect good quality, great value and something out of the ordinary.

“In today’s competitive environment it’s down to survival of the fittest – or the most innovative.
It’s all about the brand these days. You have got to get tomorrow’s market and that’s what we at Pukka Pads constantly seek.”

FSC Accreditation for Pukka Pads’ UK Production Company

Internationally renowned stationery company, Pukka Pads, has achieved full FSC accreditation for its UK-based production company.

As a modern and progressive group of companies, Pukka Pads has a responsibility to be aware of its impact on the environment and has worked tirelessly to achieve FSC accreditation after it acquired Grimsby-based, Cardinal Brands late last year.

Commenting on the accreditation, Pukka Pads’ managing director, Chris Stott, said: “Until now only the Pukka Pads production facility in China was fully FSC certified. This new certification in the UK marks another progressive step forward for the company, it has allowed us to dramatically improve the availability and costings of our FSC approved products for all of our customers in the UK and Europe.

“FSC is a fantastic organisation. Using paper from sustainable sources and ensuring the planting of new trees has always been important to Pukka Pads; it is a crucial part of eliminating our impact on the environment and also helps to secure the supply of paper for future generations. Pukka Pads is an environmentally aware and friendly company, I am very proud to be able to say that our main production facility in the UK is now fully FSC certified.”

FSC is an independent, not for profit, non-government organisation established to support environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
