What did I love about working at LLPR? Goodness, where to begin? The team was just amazing. Everybody was so supportive. The clients were constantly challenging and rewarding; working for such an amazing array of clients across the board, no two days were ever the same. I mean, what could be better than working on the beach? I found it so inspiring to be able to go for a walk along the beach in my lunch break and sometimes, if I was organised enough, to get down there before work. For me, it’s the team culture, I love that we can all have a laugh and a bit of workplace banter and not take ourselves too seriously. Yet, when you’re maybe not having the best day and could do with a random act of kindness, the team is on hand to offer to make you a cup of tea or suggest going for a walk at lunch. Of course, our amazing clients and Sandbanks location doesn’t hurt either. I used to take our office for granted, but the pandemic has made me realise how lucky we are to have access to the beach right on our doorstep. I make a special effort to get out and walk on my lunch when I’m in the office. I particularly enjoy a quiet moment overlooking the harbour before cracking on with the day. I even took up sea swimming as a Friday treat before work back when it was still warm.
