Case study: Humphries Kirk

Acting as a virtual marketing team

Background

Humphries Kirk LLP is a leading solicitors’ firm, with eight offices in Dorset, Somerset and London, offering a large variety of business and personal legal services.

Brief

Liz Lean PR acted on a retained basis for Humphries Kirk from 2013. Our brief was to maintain brand awareness and build on the firm’s opportunities to maximise its presence across the regional marketplace, through PR and acting as their virtual marketing team.

Results

LLPR produced all-new marketing materials for Humphries Kirk, including brochures and website copy, managed the firm’s marketing budget, and produced a new strategy for a series of marketing campaigns, including the introduction of clear methods of evaluation.

We also managed internal communications around the closure of a branch office, sending emails and updates to staff, as well as introducing and managing an internal, bi-monthly staff newsletter across the different offices.

We  reinvented its social media presence on two key platforms, more than doubling the number of Twitter followers and LinkedIn connections.

We  achieved multiple PR successes for Humphries Kirk, with an average of 27 pieces of regional media coverage per month, including a double-page feature in the Daily Telegraph for an art exhibition sponsored by the firm.
