Leading UK lifestyle and leisurewear clothing brand, Weird Fish, attended its first European trade show in Berlin last week.
The internationally successful event, profiling more than 600 national and international men’s and womenswear collections, took place from Tuesday January 15 to Thursday January 17. Weird Fish attracted new prospects at Panorama, including:
- 32 new German customers
- 3 new UK customers
- 3 new French customers
- 2 new Dutch customers
- Numerous enquiries from Russia, Italy and Ireland
Peter Darby, head of sales at Weird Fish, commented: “The Panorama exhibition was really successful, with a focus on new introductions and quality of key customer visits. It was great to meet with new prospects and consider our international growth. We currently sell online in the US, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand but our exports to Europe, particularly in France and Germany, continue to grow.”
Weird Fish’s exhibition stand at Panorama was set up like a ‘mock shop,’ designed to attract buyers, retailers, influencers and journalists.
Peter added: “Now that Panorama is over, we’ll be following up on key customer prospects and new leads from the show.”
Weird Fish has 15 branded stores, 20 concessions and over 400 wholesale stockists spread across the UK. Visit www.weirdfish.co.uk to shop the full range.
