Clothing brand Weird Fish has partnered with Olivia Bossert, a fashion blogger and photographer based in Falmouth, Cornwall.
After being invited to Weird Fish’s Falmouth Store Summer Party in July last year, Olivia and the clothing brand decided to collaborate on a shoot of its winter range. Olivia chose to work with model, Sophie Parsons, for this particular shoot.
Naomi Hedicker, PR co-ordinator & brand communications at Weird Fish, commented: “It was a real pleasure to work with Olivia on such a gorgeous autumn, sun-filled photo shoot. Her photography is so compelling and she did such a great job capturing the look and feel of our winter range.
“The finished photos really showcase our love of the outdoors and we would be keen to collaborate again in the future. Where possible, we always like to support local content creators and photographers.”
The photoshoot took place in Falmouth, between Swanpool and Maenporth Beach.
Weird Fish’s Falmouth store opened in April 2018 and the store’s Summer Party took place in July. The party welcomed customers, bloggers and journalists to enjoy the new store, with discounts and exclusive offers provided on the day. Artist, Julia Gash, also joined Weird Fish for the party and created a large canvas featuring points of interest from all over Cornwall, live in store. Julia asked shoppers and children what their favourite thing about Cornwall was and used these answers as inspiration for the canvas.
Olivia Bossert, fashion blogger and photographer from Falmouth, commented: “I was kindly invited to the opening of their Falmouth store last summer, and while walking around I knew that Weird Fish was a brand that I wanted to work with. They were a joy to create images for and I’ve genuinely not taken one of my sweaters off all winter. I really look forward to working with them again soon.”
The Weird Fish Falmouth store is the third store for the brand to open in Cornwall, following success in Newquay and Truro. The store is located at 47 Church Street in Falmouth.
Weird Fish boasts 15 branded stores and all items are available online www.weirdfish.co.uk.
