Last week we toured Poole Harbour on the Young Executive Club (YEC) Summer Boat Trip – a fantastic evening of networking which culminated with a spectacular display of fireworks.
Sponsored by Poole Audi and organised by Steele Raymond and Princecroft Willis, the event took place on Thursday 13 August, leaving Poole Quay at 7pm and returning in time for the fireworks display.
Have you ever been at a networking event and noticed how many people dash off as soon as they can? This was a great way of ensuring people ‘saw the evening through’ – unless you wanted to swim back to land, there really was no getting away from it, which resulted in a successful pool of young networkers exchanging ideas, business cards and establishing contacts.
The aim of the YEC is to bring together up-and-coming younger professionals to build stronger relationships for the future.
Thankfully the Purbeck Pride boat was undercover so we were able to shelter from the miserable rain, although towards the end of the boat ride we were able to go on the top tier of the boat and enjoy sundown.
