Humphries Kirk solicitors are set to support St Margaret’s Hospice by providing a free Will writing service in return for donations to the charity during its Make a Will Week from Monday September 14 to Friday September 18.

Throughout Make a Will Week, solicitors working at Humphries Kirk, will produce and update basic Wills in return for a donation to the hospice which provides high quality responsive care to patients and their families faced with life-shortening illnesses. The suggested donations are a minimum of £100 for a single Will, £150 for mirror Wills and £50 to update an existing Will with a Codicil.

Laura Staples, an associate at Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne, said: “We are delighted to support this initiative run by St. Margaret’s Hospice as they provide a valuable service to the Somerset community.

“Having a Will is the only way to guarantee that your wishes are respected after you have passed away. Many people believe that, when they die, their assets will automatically go to their spouse, partner or children. This is not, however, guaranteed.”

St Margaret’s Hospice delivers medical expertise, nursing skills and a specialist support service to patients and their families.

Humphries Kirk is a law firm with solicitors based at offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester, Crewkerne and consulting rooms in Wimborne, and London.
