For those needing a little gentle encouragement to get outdoors and active this summer, clothing brand Weird Fish has launched its new line of Mac Active sweatshirts, for people who don’t do Lycra®.
Part of the brand’s classic Macaroni™ range, the new summer Mac Active sweatshirts are made with a breathable, lightweight fabric, featuring new branding and contrast active fit panels, offering the freedom of a sports top, while retaining the iconic Weird Fish look.
While the classic colours from last season are available, the new men’s range will offer a striking palate of black, dark blue, chilli red, and conker, while women’s sweatshirts will comprise summery colours, including faded denim, light coral and boysenberry. Available for men in size small – XXL and for women in size 8 – 18, items are priced at £40.
Inspired by its laid-back, rural heritage, Weird Fish designs well-made, easy-going clothes that evoke a ‘forever weekend’ feeling. The company boasts 12 branded stores and stockists including Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks Leisure.
John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “There are so many sports tops on the market, but we’ve done something different, with a take on our iconic Macaroni™ fabric. The result is a sport and leisure-hybrid sweatshirt that’s as wearable for walking the dog as it is for hiking or running.”
John added: “Our Macaroni™ sweatshirt remains our bestselling item and has a loyal following, so we hope the Mac Active range will introduce more opportunity to wear Weird Fish, whatever the activity.”
The Mac Active range is available to buy from Weird Fish retail stores, stockists and online at www.weirdfish.co.uk. For more information, call 01242 539535.
