Leading clothing brand, Weird Fish, is set to support the 2016 Cotswolds Bike Ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Taking place on Sunday May 15, a team of six from Weird Fish are preparing to take to the roads of the Cotswolds countryside and cycle 50 miles to raise important funds for the nation’s heart charity.
Managing director John Stockton will join five of his head office team to take part in the race, which starts and finishes at the Cheltenham Race Course. As well as participating in the well-known challenge, Weird Fish representatives will also be at the finishing line to hand out medals to hundreds of competitors and to present spot prizes.
Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer and the pioneering research carried out by the British Heart Foundation helps to transform lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
John Stockton said: “The Cotswolds Bike Ride is a fun and exhilarating event to take part in and we’re delighted to support the 2016 challenge. Weird Fish is dedicated to supporting worthwhile causes, whether that be through staff involvement or via donations.”
