Clothing brand Weird Fish is launching a limited edition Darth Wader T-shirt in collaboration with The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (rspb). It will be available to buy from Tuesday 10 November, ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The rspb is the UK’s largest nature conservation charity. As the company’s charity of the year, Weird Fish will donate £9 made from each Darth Wader T-shirt sale to the charity.

The quality cotton Darth Wader T-shirt (£20) sports a wading bird disguised as Darth Vader carrying a lightsaber, closely followed by a parade of storm trooper bird characters. This quirky addition to the Weird Fish catalogue launches just in time for the seventh instalment in the Star Wars series, which hits cinema screens nationwide in December.

In addition to the launch of the charity T-shirt, keep an eye out for Weird Fish and rspb’s upcoming competition to design the next T-shirt. The competition will launch at the beginning of November on the companies’ social media pages, sales of which will be in May 2016. Again money from the sale of the new T-shirt will go towards the rspb.

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, comments: “Weird Fish is proud to continue its support of the rspb and make a difference to the green spaces and surrounding communities across the UK. It’s something our customers are passionate about, too.”

The Darth Wader T-shirt is available to buy nationally from Weird Fish retail stores and online from www.weirdfish.co.uk . There are 12 branded Weird Fish stores.
