Cotswold-based clothing brand Weird Fish has appointed integrated PR and marketing consultancy Liz Lean PR (LLPR) to develop its public relations strategy and brand identity, as it embarks on an exciting period of growth, both within the UK and globally.
From creating its very first t-shirt in 1993 Weird Fish is fast becoming one of the UKs favourite lifestyle leisure brands, creating well-made, easy-going clothes that evoke that forever weekend feeling.
Weird Fish boasts 11 branded stores and more than 400 stockists, including Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks Leisure, in addition to 80 stockists in Europe.
Further to receiving four million pounds in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial, the company is looking to grow retail and online sales by 60 per cent over the next three years and further develop its export business.
Liz Lean PR, which won the account following a competitive pitch, has been briefed to support the clothing brand to increase media awareness on both a regional and national scale for its website and retail outlets. LLPR will also assist in the development of the company’s social media presence.
