The south’s cheekiest children, bonniest babies and terrific tots are coming together across Dorset and Hampshire as Wave 105 search for model children and calendar kids in this year’s Baby and Toddler of the Year competition.
Wave 105 has launched the competition in partnership with local photographer, Rob Paul Studios, and it’s the latest fund raising initiative for the station’s charity Wave 105 Cash for Kids.
The winner of this year’s competition will receive £500, a front page cover shoot with Families Magazine and the winning child will star in the 2015 Cash for Kids calendar.
Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, said: “This is your chance to get some stunning, fun, professional photos of your little one, win some amazing prizes and raise money for Wave 105 Cash for Kids at the same time.”
Wave 105 Cash for Kids believes that all children across the region should have the chance to live life to the full and reach their individual potential. The charity supports thousands of children from birth to 18 years old who are ill, disabled, underprivileged or who simply need extra care and guidance. This is done by providing grants to individual children, other children’s charities, community groups and health organisations. Last year Wave 105 Cash for Kids raised more than £520,000 locally and touched the lives of up to 17,000 children.
Pop-up studios for the Baby and Toddler of the Year competition have already kicked off and will take place throughout the summer in Sainsbury’s stores across the region and other locations. For more information on where the pop-up studios will be taking place please visit www.wave105.com.
