Breakfast with Wave 105 presenter Steve Power

Thousands flocked to Gunwharf Quays on Friday November 1 to enjoy an evening of fabulous fireworks and free family-friendly entertainment provided by Wave 105.

Popular breakfast presenter Steve Power hosted the Wave 105 live music stage and introduced X Factor’s Tom Mann who opened the show. He was followed by fellow X factor alumni Giles Potter.

Before the fireworks began new indie pop sensations The Vamps had the crowds practising their ‘ooohs and aaahs’ with their performance of chart hit “Can We Dance”.

Steve Power says: “Even the rain couldn’t deter the crowds and dampen spirits at this spectacular fireworks party.  With more music, outrageous offers and better bangs than ever before, it is easy to see why this annual event at Gunwharf Quays has become one of the best-loved firework displays in the south.”

Visitors made the most of the famous brands on offer at discount prices in Gunwharf Quays’ premium outlet stores. The Gunwharf Quays promotional team were also on-site handing out the Little Book of Excuses which contained a host of exclusive offers to be redeemed within the stores and restaurants.
