The Wave 105 Cash for Kids pedal car team came sixth overall in the 25th Pedal Car Grand Prix in Ringwood on Sunday.
The team, led by Wave 105 presenter Simon Clarke, beat off 40 other teams in the afternoon sprint race including another team from Wave 105.
Around 15,000 spectators crowded the streets of the Hampshire town to watch the teams take on the one kilometre race circuit and battle it out to win the grand prix title.
Wave 105 presenter and team leader, Simon Clarke, said: “We had such a great afternoon and are thrilled to have come in sixth as there were 46 really strong teams taking part. I’d like to thank all of the Wave 105 listeners who came down to support us, which made a real difference to the atmosphere.”
