The annual Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity Easter appeal is due to launch Monday March 9.
Listeners and charity supporters will be encouraged to donate an Easter egg for disadvantaged children to various drop-off points across the south, right up until Friday March 27. Last year’s appeal saw more than 2,000 eggs donated.
Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, said: “This is our fifth annual Easter egg appeal, and it’s so important to us that as many children as possible can enjoy this time of year. Something as simple as an Easter egg can really make a difference to those less fortunate children, and bring a smile to their faces.
“We couldn’t do this without the wonderful support we receive every year, whether it be from our listeners, charity supports, or from our wonderful sponsors Partridge of Hampshire.”
The team at Partridge BMW/ MINI said: “Partridge are proud to be supporting the Wave 105 Cash for Kids Easter Egg appeal this year and hope to be inundated with eggs. We are making it our mission to deliver as many eggs as we can to disadvantaged children across the region this Easter.”
Wave 105 Cash for Kids have drop-off points at various Sainsbury’s stores across Hampshire. For a full list of drop-off points across the south please click on the Easter egg appeal tab on the Wave 105 website www.wave105.com.
