Wave 105 Cash for Kids is delighted to be chosen as the FJB Collection’s nominated charity for 2014.
The FJB Collection consists of four hotels, The Sandbanks, The Chine, The Haven and The Harbour Heights. Throughout the year each hotel will be hosting a series of exciting events aimed at raising much needed funds for the charity.
The hotels will also be offering guests the opportunity to support Wave 105 Cash for Kids with a small £1 donation, which will be added on check-out to their room bill. Last year, FJB’s £1 room donation alone raised more than £20,000 for charity.
John Butterworth, owner and managing director of the FJB Collection, said: “Our staff and management teams are passionate about helping and engaging with the local community. We will provide support, resources and inspiration to aid Cash for Kids with their mission.
“We believe that in this day and age, no child should go without their basic needs being met, food, clothes, education, health needs, guidance and support. We pride ourselves on being a fun destination for families, especially at The Sandbanks Hotel, and we wanted to convey this with the charity we support.”
Gloria Hill, Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, adds: “We are thrilled to have been selected as the hotel group’s charity of the year. Its support will be hugely significant in supporting disadvantaged children specifically within the Wave 105 region.”
