Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park has announced the arrival of CBBC’s The Deep: Junior Nekton Academy as their latest action packed deep sea adventure. Running from Saturday September 9 – Sunday October 1 guests can join the Nekton family in an all new interactive explorer trail.

During the event CBBC’s most daring family of sea-faring heroes Antaeus, Fontaine, Will, Kaiko and of course, their pet fish Jeffrey, will be inviting SEA LIFE visitors to join them in their unquenchable quest to solve the mysteries of The Deep.

While others look up to the stars, the Nektons know that an infinite number of things shine brightly in the darkness of the seas below. The Deep is a place where leviathans swim through sunken cities, where pirates lurk amidst floating black markets, and where a mysterious group of Guardians hide long lost secrets.

The Deep experience will see Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park host a series of themed interactive explorer zones, each with unique, exciting puzzles to help youngsters explore life under the sea. Adventurers who successfully solve the puzzles in each zone will earn themselves the honorary title of ‘Junior Nekton’ and win a special prize.

Post-mission, all Junior Nektons are encouraged to further their discoveries by finding out about SEA LIFE’s many conservation programmes while meeting the aquarium’s myriad of sea creatures, including seahorses, penguins, otters, turtles and many, many more.

The Deep: Junior Nekton Academy runs at Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park from Saturday September 9 – Sunday October 1 and is included in the usual admission price. For information and to pre-book tickets please visit www.visitsealife.com/weymouth or call 01305 761070.
