An intrepid team at self-defence and fighting specialists, Essential Krav Maga, completed the Three Peaks Challenge in 23 hours raising money for Wave 105 Cash for Kids.
The team of five, Adrian Whiting, Bryony Tyrell, Dan Thomas, Jim Maidment and Martin Slater climbed the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales, struggling against continuous rain, high winds, poor visibility and sleep deprivation.
Team member, Jim Maidment, said: “We are very proud to have completed the challenge despite gruelling circumstances. It was an amazing achievement and fantastic team building opportunity. We are thrilled that our fundraising efforts will be going to help local disadvantaged children under the age of 18.”
Gloria Hill, Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager said: “We are really thankful to the team at Essential Krav Maga for their hard work completing such a tough challenge. The money raised will benefit many youngsters in the south.”
