Humphries Kirk solicitors have renewed their support for St Margaret’s Hospice by providing a free Will writing service in return for donations to the charity during its Make a Will Week from Monday September 12 to Friday September 16.

Throughout Make a Will Week, solicitors working at Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne, will produce and update basic Wills in return for a donation to the hospice which provides high quality responsive care to patients and their families faced with life-shortening illnesses. The suggested donations are a minimum of £100 for a single Will, £150 for mirror Wills and £50 to update an existing Will with a Codicil.

Laura Staples, an associate at Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne, said: “We are delighted to support this initiative run by St. Margaret’s Hospice again as they provide such a valuable service to the Somerset community.

“Having a Will is the only way to guarantee that your wishes are respected after you have passed away. Many people believe that, when they die, their assets will automatically go to their spouse, partner or children. This is not, however, guaranteed.”

St Margaret’s Hospice delivers medical expertise, nursing skills and a specialist support service to patients and their families.
