The Chine Hotel in Bournemouth and The Haven Hotel, based on the renowned Sandbanks peninsula, have received TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awards. The accolades honour hospitality excellence and is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on the world’s largest travel community website.
Both hotels are part of the independent hotel group, the FJB Collection, and join sister hotel The Harbour Heights on the 2012 prestigious award list. To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
The Chine Hotel with its AA red rosette restaurant is often referred to as Bournemouth’s best kept secret. The Haven Hotel is based at the tip of the Sandbanks peninsula and this hotel with an award-winning two AA red rosette restaurant and Harmony spa offers uninterrupted views of Poole bay, Brownsea Island and the Purbeck hills. Travellers visiting the travel community website have consistently commended both hotels with the highest recommendation, and as a result TripAdvisor has recognised these achievements.
John Butterworth, owner and managing director of the FJB Collection, says: “We are thrilled to receive these coveted awards as we strive for service excellence in providing each of our guests a fantastic and memorable holiday. We would like to thank our guests who have taken the time to write such positive reviews about their experience with us.”
