The management team from the Dolphin Shopping Centre are preparing to compete against 30 other teams in the Poole Dragon Boat Race in Poole Park on Sunday July 15.
In aid of local charity Diverse Abilities Plus, the centre’s team will consist of 16 paddlers and one drummer. The team will take part in three heats throughout the day which will culminate in a semi-final and final, followed by a short awards ceremony for the winners at the end of the day.
John Grinnell, Dolphin Centre Manager, said: “We are really excited to taking part in the Poole Dragon Boat Race on Sunday. With 30 teams all competing for the title, the atmosphere is going to be amazing.”
“It is a great way to raise money for a very worthy Poole-based charity.”
