For the second year running, local funeral directors, Tapper Funeral Service, has confirmed its support for one of Ringwood’s major events, the Ringwood Carnival.
Tapper’s Ringwood branch, Barrow Bros and Tapper Funeral Service, will be sponsoring the Bournemouth Carnival Band who will be performing at this year’s event which takes place on Saturday September 21, from 10.00am to 5.30pm.
Steven Tapper, joint managing director at Tapper Funeral Service, said: “With hundreds of people attending, Ringwood Carnival is hugely popular and we’re very pleased to play our part in its continuing success. At Tapper Funeral Service we are dedicated to supporting community initiatives which are exciting and are accessible for people of all ages to enjoy.”
Ringwood Carnival includes an afternoon parade and an evening procession, with an array of free events, a fun fair, craft, charity and community stalls, plus a grand firework display evening finale.
The first Ringwood Carnival was held in 1929 with the event held every year since 1950.
