Students across Poole and Bournemouth were treated to an evening of fun, games and exclusive offers at the Dolphin Shopping Centre’s annual student event.

The popular shopping event saw students have the run of the centre for one night only with live performances from Halo nightclub’s resident DJ providing a soundtrack for the evening. Fire radio breakfast presenters, Al and Max, were also on hand giving away vouchers and tickets to meet Fuse ODG.

From 6:30pm through to 9pm, more than 4,000 shoppers piled through the doors of the shopping centre to grab a bargain and to enjoy a fun-filled night of retail therapy, with exclusive one-off discounts from some of the biggest high street brands such as River Island, Miss Selfridge, Oasis, Dorothy Perkins, Burtons, New Look and Animal.

John Grinnell, Dolphin Centre manager, said: “We’re delighted to see our retailers working together to create the biggest student shopping night out Poole has hosted.  This is our third student shopping night and it proved even more popular than last year and is becoming a staple of the student calendar.”

Beales store manager, Gavin Lewis, hailed the previous student events a great success and the perfect platform to show new and returning students that Poole has a lot to offer.

He added: “The student shopping event has once again been a fantastic evening with a great atmosphere. The night highlights how students of Poole and Bournemouth have what it takes to be top of the style stakes and these discounts are the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our latest trends and great prices.”
