A security guard from Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre had his head shaved and raised more than £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Stuart Mabbutt, 28, decided to support the Brave the Shave campaign after two people close to him were affected by the disease.
He says he felt utterly useless watching two people he knows becoming ill and wanted to do something motivational that would help raise funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer.
He added: “Braving the Shave has given me the opportunity to do something worthwhile and raise money for a fantastic charity which offers genuine support to those suffering and their loved ones.
“My friends know how precious I am about my hair and having no hair for a short while is nothing compared to how many people suffer from cancer.”
