Cheltenham clothing brand Weird Fish has donated fabric swatches, trimmings, fancy zips, laces and buttons to Stroud College fashion and textiles students to use in their end of year projects.
The students, who are either working towards their Foundation Diploma in Art & Design or first and second year Level 3 Extended Diploma fashion and textiles, were required to work with a combination of Weird Fish fabrics and blend the different textures together for finished pieces. Fabrics were also provided by the resource centre in Gloucester.

Lichen Davenport, fashion and textiles tutor at Stroud Campus SGS College, said: “It was very kind of Weird Fish to donate so generously to the college and I know the students have really enjoyed working with the variety of fabrics provided.”

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We’re more than happy to give back to the community we live and work in. The students should be very proud of their hard work and we’ve enjoyed seeing their finished creations on display.”

Weird Fish clothing is available to buy nationally from Weird Fish retail stores and online. For more information, visit www.weirdfish.co.uk or call 01242 539535.
