Star of Britains Got Talent Stavros Hop On Inn for a drink at the Bournemouth Family Festival

As the Bournemouth Family Festival’s official radio partner for the second year running, Wave 105 brought along its festival partner, the Hop On Inn, to keep visitors hydrated on Thursday July 25.

From 10am until 4pm, the hugely popular free event at Meyrick Park showcased what Bournemouth has to offer families, and gave children, young people and adults the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and interactive activities.

Headline act and stars of Britain’s Got Talent, Stavros Flately, and some familiar faces from Star Wars enjoyed a drink in the comfortable surroundings of the 1960s vintage, routemaster bus, which has been transformed into a mobile English pub.

Jon Brooks, commercial director of Wave 105, said “It was great to see thousands of visitors flock to this year’s Family Festival and we were delighted to welcome so many, including Stavros Flatley, aboard the Hop On Inn.”

This year’s event was held in support of the national Playday campaign, which puts children at the heart of our communities and celebrates children’s right to play. For more information please go to www.wave105.com.
