The Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole, raised more than £700 for Sport Relief by hosting a fundraising event on Friday March 21.

In association with Everyone Active Leisure Centre and Poole Town FC, the charity fundraiser offered shoppers the chance to take part in live Zumba, step classes, hoopla, rowing and cycling.

As well as the sporting activities on offer, Ray Clift, 62, owner of Cycle Paths, peddled a static bike throughout the whole day covering more than 120 miles.

Centre manager, John Grinnell, said: “I was really proud to see all the shoppers and the Dolphin Centre team getting involved in the Sport Relief event. They went out of their way to participate in the activities, rally up customers and collect a fantastic amount of money for a great charity.”
