The much-anticipated Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival returns with clothing retailer Weird Fish on board for the seventh year running as a leading sponsor.

The festival takes place on Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9 around Weymouth’s historic harbourside. Thousands of festival-goers will be drawn to Weymouth Harbour to enjoy one of the UK’s most renowned food festivals. Weird Fish will join nearly 100 stands over the two days to revel in a celebration of fresh seafood, champagne and family entertainment.

The clothing company will be showcasing a wide selection from its summer range, with exclusive show offers available. The festival is Weird Fish’s next stop on its Weird and Wonderful Tour 2017,’ which sees the clothing company exhibiting at a range of events throughout the year.

The Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival raises funds for the Fishermen’s Mission – the vital port of call for fishermen and their families, and offers something for everyone. Festival highlights this year include the ever popular live cooking demonstrations featuring celebrity chefs Mitch Tonks, Gizzi Erskine and compère Sophie Michell.

John Stockton, managing director of Weird Fish, said: “We are delighted to return as one of the main festival sponsors and are proud to be involved in an event which promotes a better understanding of the seafood available off our wonderful shores.”

Festival chairman, Roger Dalton, added: “We are delighted to have Weird Fish as a leading sponsor once again with the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival, now in its 10th year. Weird Fish is a brilliant sponsor and has supported us for many years and also represents the only clothing brand at the festival.”

Weird Fish clothing is available to buy nationally from Weird Fish retail stores and online. There are 12 branded stores and stockists include Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor, Go Outdoors, Haskins Garden Centres and Blacks Leisure.
