As a former member of Girls Aloud, one of Britain’s biggest girl groups of all time with twenty consecutive Top Ten singles in the UK, including Four Number 1’s, Sarah will be performing her debut solo single ‘Threads’, due to be released on August 7 through Sony’s RED UK label.

Also a talented actor, Sarah has recently starred in ‘Bad Day’, the BBC Television film ‘Freefall’, ‘Run For Your Wife’ and motion picture ‘St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold.’

Sarah will be joined by the nation’s favourite pop starlet and reigning Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, who is set to perform her summer smash single, ‘The Way We Are’.

Pop rock outfit Lawson are confirmed to take to the stage on Friday’s dedicated ‘Pop Night’, to perform the hits ‘Roads’ and ‘Juliet’. Also starring are chart-toppers Scouting For Girls, who are set to raise the roof with their infectious brand of indie-pop with hits ‘She’s So Lovely’, and ‘I Wish I Was James Bond’. Tickets are priced at £12 per head for Friday evening.

For the first time, Night Air 2015 will be held across three nights – Thursday 20, Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August, and promises a weekend of superb live acts guaranteed to thrill audiences.

HM Royal Marines Band Collingwood will herald the start of the proceedings with their unique proms performance of sea-inspired music, ‘Power from the Sea’. Tickets are priced at £15 per head with £10,000 hoped to be raised by ticket sale contributions for service charities benefitting from the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).

Meanwhile, Saturday will see a brand new night on the stage – ‘Take Off! A jet propelled journey through 25 years of dance music’. Hits from 1990 to the present day will mix with live performances and DJ sets highlighting some of the most enthralling dance tunes of the past two decades. The audience will be treated to contributions from Livin’ Joy featuring Luzahnn, Black Box, four-time Ivor Novello Award winner Artful of Artful Dodger fame, Grammy nominated K-Klass, and current chart star Karen Harding. Tickets for Saturday’s party are priced at £12 per head.

“Sarah is a multi-talented artist, having recently acted in a number of productions as well as a motion picture. The festival will mark her re-emergence as a successful solo artist in her own right – hot on the heels of her soon-to-be released new single, ‘Threads’. We’ll be announcing more acts over the next couple of weeks!”

In addition to the Night Air events, people will be able to enjoy a multitude of thrilling air spectacles. Across four consecutive days, appearances from the Red Arrows, to the roar and thunder of the Typhoon and Vulcan; supported by an armada of Royal Navy ships in the waters off the shore, this festival is set to be the event to mark the summer.
