Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding its annual President’s Lunch on Friday 8 February and one of the area’s major motor dealerships, Tower Park-based Breeze Volkswagen, has come on board as sponsor to support the Chamber’s first major event in 2013.

Taking place at Premier Partner member venue AFC Bournemouth from 12pm, more than 150 guests will have the opportunity to welcome the 2012/13 President of Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mike Clark, listen to an inspirational speech given by Josephine Fairley, the co-founder of Green & Black’s organic chocolate, as well as enjoy a three-course lunch.

New president Mike Clark is marketing and new business manager for Morris Lane Chartered Accountants in Poole and the primary objectives in his new role will be to ensure that the Chamber continues to be a lead voice in the region’s business community, to assist local SME’s find and benefit from business support and continue to build upon and improve relations with other town and county Chambers.

The lunch will be followed by guest speaker Jo Fairley. In 1991, Jo co-founded the pioneering organic chocolate company Green & Black’s with her husband Craig Sams. In 2005, the brand was sold to Cadbury’s but Jo remains in an ambassadorial role travelling the world as the brand grows internationally. Jo will divulge to guests the powerful story behind how she created one the “coolest” brands in the UK, now owned by one of the biggest food retailers in the world.
