Independent hotel group, the FJB Collection has announced the appointment of Karen Ewing as sales director.
A skilled sales professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality arena, Karen leaves the post of director of sales at the Dorchester Collection’s luxury country house hotel and spa Coworth Park in Berkshire, where she had responsibility for the sales direction of the hotel as well as the collection’s Dorchester Hotel and 45 Park Lane. Prior to this, she was director of sales and marketing at Brocket Hall International in Hertfordshire, where she developed strategies to promote the stately home exclusively for corporate and high profile private parties together with two championship golf courses and the Michelin-starred Auberge du Lac restaurant.
As sales director of the Dorset-based FJB Collection, Karen’s main responsibilities will include driving sales on a local and national level across the portfolio of hotels, strengthening existing relationships with the Dorset community and its businesses as well as building and developing a focused FJB sales force.

The FJB Collection portfolio includes four prestigious Dorset-based hotels, The Haven, The Sandbanks and The Harbour Heights based on the renowned Sandbanks peninsula, one of the world’s most prestigious locations, and The Chine in Bournemouth as well as the FJB Watersports Academy.
