Haskins Garden Centre in Roundstone, has selected Canine Partners for the second year in a row, as its charity of the year for 2016.
In 2015, employees at Haskins raised £3,894.00 for the charity which aims to transform the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs.
Jane Grant, community fundraiser for Canine Partners, said: “We are really grateful for the support of Roundstone Haskins Garden Centre and are delighted to have received £3,894.00, so far from their Wishing Well. All the money raised will enable Canine Partners to train more assistance dogs to transform the lives of people with physical disabilities.”
Nick Joad, general manager at Haskins Garden Centre in Roundstone, added: “Canine Partners is such a worthy charity and our staff are really motivated to continue raising as many funds as possible. We want to raise more than £5,000.00 by the end of 2016 to fund the training of a puppy.”
