As part of the Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts, celebrations for its Family Circus Day on Sunday October 14, a number of pop-up performances will be taking place at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole.

Not to be missed, the Dorset School of Acting will be performing a number of circus related recitals on the hour between 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Britain’s top juggling company, Gandini Juggling will be performing outside M&S at 2pm. The Gandinis have grown from a small-scale experimental company to an umbrella organisation creating and producing juggling performances.

If the performances at the Dolphin Centre whet the appetite for all things Circus, people can enjoy a series of free events and activities at the Lighthouse from 11.00am until 4.00pm.

John Grinnell, centre manager, said: “We are always keen to support the Lighthouse with the outstanding work that it does. We love the idea of the circus coming to the Dolphin Centre for the day and I am sure shoppers visiting the centre will be impressed too.”

Paul Tucker, Lighthouse Communications Officer, said: “The on-going support from the Dolphin Centre has been great. The performers are really excited about performing to the shoppers.”
