The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club has descended on The Sandbanks Hotel this week.

Consisting of members from all over the world, the club has chosen to spend a week in Dorset for their annual rally and the hotel is hosting them.

The club will be touring Dorset’s famous Jurassic coastline during their stay and the excursion will finish with a special gala dinner at the hotel on Friday May 25.

Tony James, rally organiser, says: “It is always challenging trying to decide where to take 17 cars for a week.  The Sandbanks Hotel has plenty of space for our cars and the team at the hotel have been very obliging in helping to arrange our trip.   Sandbanks is a beautiful location and is the perfect basis from which to explore the coastline, so it seemed a perfect choice.”

Seventeen Rolls Royce, Bentley and E-type Jaguar cars will be displayed in the hotel car park at various times during the stay and visitors are encouraged to come and see the cars and talk to any of the 34 owners.

Philippa Thompson, general manager of The Sandbanks Hotels, adds: “It’s great to be hosting the enthusiasts this week.  Visitors to Sandbanks will need to keep their eyes peeled as there are sure to be some classic sights around the peninsula this week!”
