As official radio partner of the fantastic ’Corona Night Air Between the Piers’, part of the 2012 Bournemouth Air Festival, Wave 105 is excited to unveil headline performances from Newton Faulkner and Rizzle Kicks.

 

Taking place at the Boscombe Pier Corona Music Stage on Friday August 31 and Saturday September 1 night respectively, this live music extravaganza is unlike anything seen before at the award-winning festival.

 

More top names in pop are to be announced by Wave 105 in the coming weeks for the three nights of music which takes place from 6pm on Thursday August 30 to Saturday September 1.

 

There are only 5,000 tickets available for each night which will be available by way of ballot. The ballot opens at 7am on Wednesday August 8and closes Sunday August 12 at midnight. Apply online at www.wave105.com.

At the other end of the beach, the Bournemouth Pier Corona Music Stage (not ticketed) will be jam-packed with tribute acts from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Presented by Alex Dyke, festival-goers can watch ‘Complete Madness’ on Thursday evening, enjoy anthems from ‘The Queen Band’ on Friday evening and ‘Who’s Who’, one of The Who’s greatest tribute acts, will take to the stage on Saturday.
