During the April half term hundreds of biscuit fans arrived at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole, to experience a host of ‘crunch’-themed activities including a Dorset Knob throwing competition and a cookie decorating workshop.
The two-day festival saw more than 500 children take part in a range of activities with a gigantic art attack-style mural being constructed from a variety of biscuits, creating a tasty masterpiece.
Hosted in association with Dorset Tea, participants both young and old were encouraged to take part in a biscuit dunking challenge and a cookie-themed crazy golf.
Centre manager John Grinnell said: “The Biscuit Festival was such a fun event, it allowed us to really get creative and provide something entertaining for shoppers during the Easter holidays, which saw not just children but parents getting involved as well to make the event a huge success. We are now looking forward to hosting our brand new Food Festival in July.”
