The man behind the award-winning Urban Beach, Urban Reef and Urban Renaissance, entrepreneur Mark Cribb, has expanded his successful business and thrown open the doors to a new venture in Poole.

Mark and the team behind the ‘Urban brand’ have opened Jenkins & Sons, a cool coffee shop, bar and restaurant in Penn Hill.

The distinctive 1920’s fishmongers and butchers has become well-known for its unique dining experience, bringing a taste of the London social scene to Poole.

Every Wednesday from 7pm, the popular new eatery will be offering live acoustic evenings to entertain its diners with a selection of chilled-out tunes from promising local artists.

Taking to the mic on Wednesday October 2 to kick off the live music nights will be folk and indie singer, Martin Pitt.

Mark said: “We want people to come in from the dark evenings to enjoy some good music in the warm and lively atmosphere of Jenkins & Sons while taking full of advantage of our Josper oven cooked menu. We are now taking bookings so look forward to welcoming you to our fantastic new venue.”

Jenkins & Sons is open daily from 9.00am to 11.00pm. For further information on its live acoustic evenings visit: www.JenkinsSons.com or call 01202 746604.
