The much anticipated Wave 105 Live! will return to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Saturday May 31 and chart-topping songstress, Pixie Lott, is the first act to be announced.

The singer-songwriter, actress & model released her debut single back in 2009 and has since had three number one singles, and her first album sold over a million copies. Pixie will be just one of the acts performing live on the night, with many more to be confirmed to play.

Wave 105 Live! is a live music event produced and hosted by the popular regional radio station and is back for the fourth year running. Over the past three years, Wave 105 Live! has starred some of the biggest names in music including gorgeous girl band The Saturdays, Paloma Faith, Will Young, Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, Scottish rock gods Travis, Take That star Mark Owen, and 80’s stars Erasure and Go West.

Keith Penny, events director of Wave 105 said: “Wave 105 Live! is our chance to give something back to our hundreds of thousands of loyal listeners. We reflect the fact that we play “The South’s Best Variety of Hits”, with our line up for the show featuring acts from the 80’s to today. We’re delighted that Pixie will be appearing this year as her hits like ‘All About Tonight’, ‘Cry Me Out’, ‘Boys & Girls’ and current single ‘Nasty’ will go down brilliantly with our family orientated audience. We had great feedback after the last three shows and can’t wait to delight a packed audience once again! ”
