World Cup menu summer 2014
Patrick’s Restaurant, Bar and Event Catering in Ashley Cross has launched a limited-edition menu to celebrate the FIFA World Cup this month. Offering a selection of no-nonsense dishes to enjoy while the matches are being screened, the menu is available every evening from 5pm and includes options such as sweet chilli chicken sticks and a goats cheese and pickle burger – all for just £6 each (sides £2).
In addition, Patrick’s is offering promotional vouchers for those who choose to dine from the World Cup menu, such as a free side dish with any main course, a main course, side dish and pint for just £10 and reduced-price wine and beer. What’s more, designated drivers are being offered a free soft drink during every match.
Patrick’s manager, Jeni Pedley, said: “We’re really excited about the new menu we’ve devised to celebrate the World Cup. It comprises classic pub grub such as homemade burgers with a few exotic items such as chilli nachos with cheese and salsa, so there’s a nod to the South American theme of FIFA 2014 for those who like their food hot and spicy!
“Patrick’s provides plenty of screens and comfy booths, but we’re urging those wanting to catch the matches to book in advance to guarantee themselves a good seat.”
