ODEON – Europe’s leading cinema chain – has officially confirmed that it will open its doors on Friday February 10, at the brand new BH2 leisure complex, in time for one of the most eagerly awaited film weekends of the year.

Tickets for the new cinema are now on sale, in readiness for a host of blockbuster films being released including The LEGO Batman Movie and Fifty Shades Darker on opening weekend, plus John Wick: Chapter 2 and The Great Wall later in February.

ODEON has already announced that Bournemouth’s newest cinema will be one of its most advanced flagships in the UK. The 10 screen cinema is also the jewel in the crown of the new BH2 leisure complex. It has been purpose built to house the cinema giant’s cutting edge offerings, including the new high definition ISENSE screen with cutting edge Dolby Atmos sound systems and 4k digital projectors, producing an even brighter, clearer and more detailed picture.

This brand new cinema also includes reclining seats in most of the auditoria, a unique Kids Screen with a fun and comfortable seating area, and a new hot food range of pizzas and planks.

ODEON Bournemouth’s new General Manager, Richard Rowe, said: “We are excited to be opening our doors to the residents of Bournemouth in time for February half term when we will be screening the biggest blockbusters across our 10 screens, including family favourite The LEGO Batman Movie and the highly anticipated sequel in the bestselling E.L. James trilogy Fifty Shades Darker.”
