To cope with an increase in demand Nuffield Health Bournemouth has relocated its popular cosmetic surgery information evening on Tuesday May 19 at 7pm to the Village Urban Resorts Hotel in Bournemouth.
Originally held at Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital, the free events have seen a rise in visitor numbers and interest in cosmetic surgery at the hospital.
Leading consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon at Nuffield Health, Mr Ian Whitworth, will give an informal presentation about the procedures available followed by a question and answer session.
Shirley Ewart, primary care manager at Nuffield Health, says: “Our cosmetic events are proving so popular we need to relocate the event to the Village Urban Resorts Hotel in Bournemouth to accommodate the increase in numbers. These free information evenings provide the ideal informal setting to find out more detail and ask any questions you may have regarding cosmetic surgery.”
Mr Whitworth adds: “The choice to have cosmetic surgery should not be taken lightly and it is important to have confidence in both the surgeon and the facilities. We are hosting this free event to allow people to make an informed decision as to what is right for them.”
With cosmetic surgery causing controversy in recent weeks due to 17-year-old Kylie Jenner admitting to using lip fillers, Mr Whitworth acknowledges the importance of exploring the cosmetic surgery options with each individual before proceeding with treatment.
Mr Whitworth explains: “The important thing to consider is that the individual meets the specific criteria, rendering them appropriate patients. The decision as to whether a young person is suitable for surgery should be thoroughly examined by their prospective surgeon, the patient and their legal guardians.”
The Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital has specialised in providing safe, appropriate cosmetic surgery for more than fifty years.
