Now celebrating its 20th anniversary year, public relations, marketing and communications agency, Liz Lean PR (LLPR), has expanded by welcoming a new agency director to the business. Claire Hardy joins the team following a long career in London, in digital communications.

As part of her role with Liz Lean PR, Claire will be responsible for working alongside managing director, Liz Willingham, to enhance the agency’s product and service offering, as well as focusing on new business development, operational effectiveness and overall business strategy.

After graduating with an advertising, media and marketing degree from Bournemouth University, Claire spent some time travelling the world before beginning her career in digital marketing in London.

Claire has vast experience delivering projects for a host of global brands across multiple industry sectors including automotive, FMCG, hospitality, entertainment, IT and media, travel, financial, pharmaceutical and not-for-profit. In addition, Claire’s previous roles have seen her lead and manage large teams and multi-agency relationships, across Europe and internationally, within some of the world’s largest agency networks such as WPP, Publicis and Havas.

Claire Hardy, agency director, Liz Lean PR, said: “When I saw this opportunity, I came to understand the agency delivers so much more than a traditional public relations consultancy. There is a great deal of talent here which often goes unnoticed by the world beyond. I am really looking forward to being part of the journey of growth, evolving LLPR as the industry and media evolves, developing the existing offering, and delivering greater success for our clients.”

Liz Willingham, managing director, Liz Lean PR, said: “For some time I have been looking to implement an agency director role to help support our continued growth. Claire brings extensive digital and marketing communications experience. She will work directly alongside me to ensure we are embracing all opportunities as a business, and to support existing and new clients to further develop their communications strategies.

“Dorset is a thriving hub for business, and it’s refreshing to see that London talent is being attracted to the area. With this being LLPR’s 20th anniversary year, we have been looking to the future, so the timing was perfect to bring Claire on board as part of our continued development.”
