Mighty Adventures is opening its new adventure golf course, Viking Valley, in Hedge End, Southampton on Saturday, May 18.
The new course, based in Hedge End Golf Centre, will create seven new jobs in the area as part of a £1million investment into the facility.
Set in a mythical land of sea monsters, shipwrecks and including three water features and moving, life-sized dinosaurs, Viking Valley covers 2,700 square meters and offers 18 holes of adventure golf. Mighty Adventures offers immersive experiences for families and this course has been adapted from the children’s story ‘The Mighty Claws Follow a Monster’, written by Nat Luurtsema.
Allan Saud, executive director of Mighty Adventures, commented: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the new Viking Valley at Hedge End Golf Centre. The team have done a fantastic job of creating an exciting adventure for everyone to take part in, and we’re sure that this course will appeal to all ages.”
The course opens to everyone at 1pm, and visitors will receive 50 per cent discount on tickets during the opening day.
Mighty Adventures’ investment into Hedge End Golf Centre also includes extending the car park to create 40 additional spaces and improve the café with a new menu and updated facilities.
