Popular clothing brand Weird Fish is holding a “Meet the Artist” day at its store in Newquay on Thursday March 31, in Weymouth on Friday April 1 and in Portsmouth on Saturday April 2.
Weird Fish cartoonist and illustrator, Richard Skipworth will be at the stores from 10am until 3pm doing airbrushing demonstrations on T-shirts, and revealing how he brings the brand to life. There will also be a chance to win one of 10 original T-Shirt designs, as airbrushed on the day. In addition, Weird Fish will offer 20 per cent off everything in store to celebrate the day and goody bags worth £20 for the first 20 customers. Retro nibbles and drinks will also be served throughout the day.
A life-size T-shirt design will be on display in the store with a space for shoppers’ faces. Photos will be encouraged to be taken for social media with the hashtag #SelfPortrout to be in with the chance of winning £100.
Born from a love of the great outdoors, Weird Fish offers well-made, easy-going clothes that evoke that ‘forever weekend’ feeling. The brand has come a long way since creating its first T-shirt back in 1993 and is renowned for its instantly recognisable slow-spun Original Macaroni™.
John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We believe our Meet the Artist Days will provide a great day out for all the family. Keep an eye out for our special #SelfPortrout campaign in stores to be in with the chance of winning £100.”
