A generous donation by Mazars Charitable Trust (‘MCT’), a charity established by the partners of Mazars LLP, the international accountancy and business advisory firm, has helped make getting out and about a lot easier for disabled people in the south.

David I’Anson, partner with the Poole office of Mazars LLP presented a £25,000 specially adapted minibus to the Enham Trust charity which is dedicated to transforming the lives of over 4500 disabled people across Dorset and Hampshire .

David I’Anson explains: “Each year the equity partners of Mazars LLP donate a portion of the firm’s profits, this year over £300,000 to MCT. The trustees of MCT select local, national and international charitable causes to give grants to.We like a specific and tangible project so we can see real benefits arising from our donations.”

Learning just how much Enham clients Shaun Barker and Svend Hunter rely on wheelchair-friendly transport to live independent adult lives tipped the balance in favour of the charity which for over 90 years has been making a difference to the lives of disabled people by empowering them to achieve their potential and gain greater personal independence in all aspects of their lives.
