Amateur runner Richard Davies, 44, from Spetisbury has raised £1500 for Poole hospice Forest Holme.

Richard completed his third London Marathon in just four hours and 43 minutes. He decided to raise money for Forest Holme, which is dedicated to caring for patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses after his sister-in-law Trisha  died of bowel cancer.

He said:  “Trisha spent the last few weeks of her life in Forest Holme and we’re so grateful to the hospice for the care and attention they gave to her. They were professional first and foremost and still went out of their way to really help the families and loved ones left behind.”
