Drewsons Building Maintenance, part of the Bournemouth-based Drewitt Group has completed the final phase of major refurbishment works at Drewitt Industrial Estate, Ringwood Road.

Owned and managed by James Drewitt & Son Ltd, the Drewitt Industrial Estate was established in the late 1980’s and the work was required to ensure the units remain functional and lettable in today’s commercial industrial market.

The work has included removal and replacement of the original corrugated cement asbestos roofing and cladding, and improving access with new roller shutter and personal doors.

Gillian Drewitt, managing director of The Drewitt Group, said: “We’re pleased to have completed this phase of refurbishment work on the Estate. As a direct result of making this investment I am delighted to say that Eurocell Building Plastics, one of our longest standing tenants, will be moving into one of the newly refurbished premises in the spring.

“They needed additional space to accommodate their expansion plans and the new unit will provide more storage as well as better access for their customers.”

Drewsons Building Maintenance was formed in 1964 and is a subsidiary of James Drewitt & Son Ltd. Over the years it has developed into the general building maintenance division of The Drewitt Group that can offer commercial clients a reliable building maintenance service with expertise drawn from all areas of the construction industry.
