Sandbanks-based public relations agency, Liz Lean PR, continues to expand and strengthen its team with the appointment of two new team members, Ellie Cowley and Beth Kendall.
Ellie joins the team as an account manager with over six years’ experience in ground level and strategic PR at Merlin Entertainments. During her time with the global visitor attraction giant, Ellie played a significant role working with more than 39 Sea Life centres and six Dungeons across the globe. She has extensive experience in targeted consumer and trade PR on both regional and national levels.
In her new role, Ellie is responsible for supporting a number of clients with their public relations strategies, as well as working with managing director, Liz Willingham, on new business opportunities.
Also new to the Liz Lean PR team is account executive Beth Kendall. Well-travelled, Beth completed a round the world trip after graduating from university before going on to work as a press officer for five years in award-winning travel PR agency, Citrus PR. Some of Beth’s previous clients include the UK’s largest independent tour operator, DialAFlight, luxury villa specialists in Mallorca and Ibiza, two resorts in the Maldives and a collection of hotels in New York.
In her role at Liz Lean PR, Beth is working with Connaught Windows who recently joined the consultancy’s client base to highlight the company’s achievements as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. Beth will also be responsible for providing client support across the team.
Managing director of Liz Lean PR, Liz Willingham, said: “Ellie and Beth have joined us in an exciting phase of our development. At the start of 2014 we welcomed two further clients, Connaught Windows, one of the south coast’s longest-standing window fabricators, and telecommunications experts, VOIP Unlimited. Furthermore, our PR remit for Churchill Retirement Living has recently been extended, and we are now proud to be supporting the organisation with all of its developments across the south and south west.
“We are in a strong position to further evolve and grow the business as these exciting new opportunities come our way. To introduce wider skills and experience to the team is critical to fulfil our full potential as PR continues to be regarded as one of the most important tools within the marketing mix.”
